What sets Weber Construction apart from other local builders?
Our team has built a strong reputation for unparalleled service while making your project an enjoyable experience. We strive to produce high-quality custom work that will amaze our clients every-time they step into their home. We limit our houses per year to make sure no one is spread too thin. We find that this allows our true creativity and customization to shine through our work. We do not have any plans or predesigned homes; each home is built from the ground up after carefully reviewing your needs, wants & dreams. When we say custom homes, we mean it. We use carefully selected subcontractors and vendors to ensure our quality is the best in the business. Relax, you’re safe with Weber Construction.
What if we have crazy ideas/dreams for our home?
Bring them on! We strive to make each home one of a kind and love a challenge. Your dream home can become a reality with Weber Construction. Please feel free to take a look at our Instagram to see some examples of our custom work. You can visit our "Gallery" page for a preview of some previous projects.
What price per square foot can we expect?
We understand this is an important one. Although we would love to give you an exact number right now, our custom work means just that. Each project is so unique, so we would like to consult with you first before we can estimate the cost. Pricing is based on many factors, including square footage, number of floors, architectural style, specialized options you choose, HOA requirements, etc. With that being said, we will do everything we can to help fit your home design to your budget. Lets talk!
I am extremely interested in energy efficiency. What can Weber offer to fulfil our interest and help?
We would be more than happy to assist you in making your newly planned home more energy-efficient. Let’s discuss your preferences at our first design consultation.
Can we design the house and have Weber build it?
Absolutely! We have clients come with plans ready to build and we also have clients starting from scratch. We would love the opportunity to sit down and review your design with you.
I found a floor plan online that I like. Should I purchase it?
If the floor-plan is exactly how you would like your home, absolutely. If you want to make any slight changes, we recommend you bring a link/picture of those plans to our first meeting, and we can put you in touch with our draftsman to assist you in designing your home.
How long is your warranty on each home?
We offer a 12 month warranty on each project. We also work closely with our vendors and manufacturers for extended warranties with your home.
How long does the building process take?
Please visit the "Our Process" page for more information pertaining to the build process.
What is a ‘cost-plus’ contract?
Weber Construction has been using this process for over 20 years. We know costs are an important factor in your build and believe in transparency. All of our contracts are cost-plus which means you are paying the “true” cost to build your home plus our overhead and profit. Everything is broken down by line item with allowances and once under contract, you have full access to the invoices and quotes for your home. We do NOT have escalation clauses in our contracts because you are paying the actual true value cost. This also allows you to capture the savings on a line item should materials or your selections come in under budget or market costs drop. We work very hard with you to estimate the cost of your home based on information provided by our sub-contracts and vendors while also evaluating current values of ongoing projects.
Do you pay a referral fee to Realtors?
Weber Construction is always eager to partner with local Realtors in assisting their clients to build their dream home. If a client would like representation during a new build, Weber will factor in a commission equal to 2.0% of the total cost to build. If a client is referred to us but does not want representation through the length of the build, Weber will pay a referral equal to 0.75% of the total cost of the build. We can answer any questions related to this process at our first meeting; in person or over the phone.
Do you need help help buying a lot or selling your current home?
We have an in-house relator that can help to assist you. Be sure to message us.
